2. Design & Performance

This legging didn't start on a mood board. It started on a trail.

After the first real-world test hike at Pinnacles National Park, we came back with notes: shorten the length to a true 7/8, add more support around the tummy area, and make the built-in liner slightly stretchier. Four rounds of wear-testing later, we had something we were proud of.

What we loved from the start — and kept:

• Super breathable and comfortable, even during long movement sessions
• Pull on and go — built-in liner means no extra underwear needed, no visible panty lines
• Earth-friendlier materials — no nylon, no polyester-heavy fabrics

We believe a great sustainable product has to earn it on four fronts: eco-friendliness, practicality, durability, and price. This legging is our answer to all four.

3. Material

Main Body — 95% Lyocell (Tencel) · 5% Elastane Stitching — Elastane & Polyester thread Waistband lining — Elastane power mesh

• Lyocell — Sourced from sustainably managed wood pulp. Silky-smooth hand-feel, superior moisture absorption, and natural drape. A genuine alternative to synthetic fabrics.
• Elastane (5%) — We considered natural rubber fiber as an alternative, but it's significantly more expensive and less durable than elastane. An eco product that's unaffordable or wears out quickly isn't truly sustainable. After careful evaluation, 5% elastane gives the essential stretch and rebound yoga movement requires — at a price and durability that makes sense.
• Stitching — Elastane and polyester thread, chosen for strength, flexibility, and long-term durability.
• Waistband — Features an elastane power mesh panel for a supportive, smoothing fit that stays in place during movement.

We continue to monitor developments in biodegradable stretch fibers. When a viable alternative exists, we'll make the switch.
